Christmas Cookie Exchange

Our cookie exchange was held at the home of our fearless blog leader. The meal was simply scrumptious with our fabulous appetizer of artichoke and cheese dip, ham, corn pudding, broccoli salad, biscuits, wine and a special Connie chocolate cake for dessert. Several members of our group asked for the recipe for the corn pudding brought by the bread lady. So here it is:
Step 1: Wisk together in a bowl 4 eggs, 4 tablespoons of sugar and 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour.
Step 2: Add 2 cans corn, drained, and 2 cans of cream-style corn, undrained of course. Mix well!
Step 3: Place mixture into a well-greased baking dish. I think a round 2-quart would do well.
Step 4: Place pats of butter on top.
Step 5: Place in a opreheated 350 degree oven, uncovered, for about one hour.
Enjoy!
I am told that this is quite a popular dish and came from relatives in the great state of Kentucky by way of another great place, Savanah, Georgia.
After our meal we exchanged our baked goods and presents. It was a terrific time.
